Join us for a night with some of our region’s greatest! The Ascension Project is a Jazz and Contemporary Fusion band whose objective is to bring a dynamic, innovative & creative sound to their audience. They offer a unique, intricate meshing of Jazz, Jazz Fusion, R&B, Soul & Blues. With every performance, their desire is to bring people along on a musical journey – a musical ascension.
This is truly a collaboration – a collective of some of the finest musical talent in the Roanoke Valley Area and beyond.
The band is fronted by lead singer/entertainer Terry Brown. Brian Mesko lays down some funky, rock-solid bass lines in concert with the rhythmic patterns of the drums played by Jason Hoffheins. Jamiel Allen brings a smooth, jazz-funk piano groove to the mix and the Ascension Project sound is rounded off with the electrifying guitar stylings of Willis Greenstreet. Be ready for the journey!
