Sexbruise? is a cutting-edge pancake delivery system that’s also a band and a shark. The band formed in 2015 as a side project of Donnie Lonegan (Talking Heads) and Geath Kearnon (Blues Traveler). The duo joined forces with Stratton Moore (Percussion) and Will Evans (Guitar) in 2017.
Sexbruise? toured in this formation until 2019 when Donnie Lonegan was mauled by a bear and Geath Kearnon was crushed to death by a vending machine on the same day. John Pope(drums) and Julie Slonecki(vocals) were brought on as replacements.
Their shows can be described as a giant party. The tunes are memorable, the stage presence exciting, and the antics unpredictable. And there are snacks. Thrown from the stage. The band has prepared pancakes and pizza on stage, brought out dancers in animal costumes, hired fake demonstrators to protest their shows, and many more other cool things.
Sexbruise? is embroiled in legal battles with KFC and The Church of Scientology.
