Ever since Josh Bennett Band formed a little over two years ago, they made it their goal to spread love and great music far and wide. In doing this, they have created a grassroots sound the majority of people have never heard before. With the instrumentation of many rock, blues and funk collectives, their band features electric guitar, bass and drums. However, what makes them special is their implementation of lead banjo into this mix. Arising the question: What genre is the Josh Bennett Band? They have heard opinions from southern rock to “funky bluegrass,” but as long as people are filled with love and happiness from what they create- it is all in the eye of the beholder.
