COLBY T. HELMS & THE VIRGINIA CREEPERS (1:00 – 2:30pm)

Joined by his band The Virginia Creepers, Colby T. Helms has cut his teeth with countless gigs around the area. He has also shared a series of arresting D.I.Y. performance videos on YouTube, including “Smoke and Flames.” With starkly honest songwriting and a sharp angular twang to his vocals, he struck a dynamic balance between country storytelling, blue grass energy, and blues power. He caught the attention of Photo Finish Records and inked a deal with the label in 2023.

Now, he’s shining a light on a very special part of America and offering up hope.

I also want you to know Appalachia is not just a dead-end place full of dead-end people. There is still growth happening here. ISAAC HADDEN PROJECT (3 – 5pm)

Isaac Hadden is a young, genre-smashing guitarist and vocalist from Southwest, VA, currently based in Asheville, NC. He is gaining attention for his passion and talent, and building a supportive fanbase in the United States and abroad. He has played alongside some of the hottest acts on the music festival circuit and performed supporting sets for a growing list of legendary guitarists. He fronts the Isaac Hadden Project, an improvisational jazz-infused funk-rock group comprised of seasoned professionals from Southwest, VA as well as Isaac Hadden Organ trio, an unconventional jazz-funk group that features powerhouse musicians from western NC. He also performs regular solo acoustic shows, making use of live looping and a unique approach to the acoustic guitar.
