Red Weather toured from 1993 to 1999 and released 3 projects before coming off the road and played occasionally till the passing of drummer Thomas Wilson in 2015. Since then the three have played together in a few other projects and sat-in a lot with each other’s more recent projects. \nOver the last decade they talked a lot about bringing Red Weather’s music back\, but life always seemed to lead to other opportunities. Well\, with a little coaxing and a lot of intent the three primary writers of Red Weather have reunited to play and see what happens. They are only able to undergo such a daring adventure with their new bandmates and rhythm section\, Jay Gladden and Matt Leonard.

These singer-songwriters blend a deep catalog of original music with covers from legendary artists like The Beatles\, John Prine\, and Johnny Cash. Their sound is rooted in classic rock and folk\, promising a setlist that’s both familiar and uniquely their own. \n9PM – HACKENSAW BOYS \nRoots music shapeshifters Hackensaw Boys have been making audiences holler and dance since way back in 1999. Formed in Charlottesville and now based in Lynchburg\, Virginia\, this hard traveling group has built an international following for their high-energy performances and down-to-earth presentation. Despite their roots in traditional music\, their homegrown aesthetic (bolstered by the “charismo\,” their calling card percussion instrument handmade from cans and other metal objects) belies their contemporary approach to songcraft and showmanship. Hackensaw Boys’ music today has just as much in common with the straight-ahead sound of the Del McCoury Band as it does with the indie rock of Pavement and the modern folk of the Avett Brothers and Mountain Goats.
